NH10: is a crime thriller film directed by Navdeep Singh. It stars Anushka Sharma, Neil Bhoopalam,Ravi Jhankal & Deepti Naval.The film is inspired from 2008 British thriller Eden Lake

PLOT: The plot revolves around an urban working couple Meera(Anushka) and Arjun(Neil Bhoopalam) who decide to go on a road trip.As they travel via the highway NH10, things quickly deteriorate when they witness an honor killing. After attempting to intervene, the couple are hunted by a group of murderous men  led by Satbir (Darshan Kumar) who will stop at nothing to eliminate anybody who gets in their way.The cat and mouse game is played out in the badlands of Haryana.What happens to the couple is rest of the story.

PERFORMANCES: Anushka Sharma is just brilliant.She delivers her best performance in this film.Neel Bhoopalam is ok.Darshan Kumar is good.Dipti Naval in a surprising role of her entire career is very good.

MUSIC: composed by Sanjeev-Darshan.The song "chhil gaye naina" is good composition.

The build-up in Navdeep Singh’s second feature is so tight, so tense, so horrifying that you can’t blink.He mixes genres in NH10 it is a road movie, crime drama, chase thriller and revenge tale rolled into one.He has left no stone unturned to make NH10 as cruel, brutal and hard-hitting as the real life incident.There is provocation, fear and tension that builds slowly and disturbs your mind and stays there for long.A well written script,tightly edited.

What makes it even more frightening is how utterly believable NH10.

overall,NH10 is a must watch film.This movie is not for faint hearted as this is extremely violent film.

ROY

ROY: is a romantic thriller film, directed by Vikramjit Singh  featuring Arjun Rampal ,Jacqueline Fernandez, Ranbir Kapoor , Anupam Kher, Rajit Kapur and Shibani Dandekar.

PLOT: Kabir Grewal (arjun Rampal), a film maker and screenwriter is making multiple films (GUNS Trilogy) based on a thief's life and robberies, all achieving high success. In order to shoot his third installment, he goes to Malaysia, where he meets a London based film-maker Ayesha Aamir (Jacqueline Fernandez). Kabir and Ayesha get friendly and soon fall in love. When Ayesha gets to know about Kabir's Casanova attitude, she breaks up with him and returns to London. Dejected Kabir goes into depression and returns back to Mumbai, leaving his film incomplete. After several failed trials Kabir couldn't find a perfect climax for his story.In a parallel story, an infamous Roy (Ranbir Kapoor) is a mysterious international art thief whom no country seems to be able to get their hands on, including Detective Wadia (Rajit Kapur). On his new assignment, Roy goes to an unknown foreign land to steal an expensive painting only to find that its owner is the beautiful Tia (Jacqueline Fernandez).Slowly Roy fells in love with Tia.

Now how Kabir completes his film & what happens to Roy are the rest of the movie.

PERFORMANCES: Arjun Rampal & Ranbir Kapoor are good.Jacqueline is ok.

MUSIC: composed by Ankit Tiwari,Amaal Mallik,Meet Bros Anjjan.The complete album is awesum. All songs are very good.Music is the plus point of the film.

Beautiful location,awesum music but story is long.Script is boring & little bit confusing.Well attempt by debutant director but he fails to execute in a right way.

Overall, Roy is not a film worth watching.So u can miss it without any hesitation.

BADLAPUR

BADLAPUR: is an Indian crime drama film directed by Sriram Raghavan stars Varun Dhawan , Nawazuddin Siddiqui ,Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam,Vinay Pathak, Divya Dutta, and Radhika Apte.

PLOT: Misha (Yami Gautam) and her son Robin become the unfortunate victims of a bank robbery getaway during a shopping trip conducted by Liak (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and his friend Harman (Vinay Pathak).Both mother and son later succumb to their injuries in hospital. Harman jumps out of the car to protect the money while Liak is arrested. Harman agrees to Liak to give his share after he gets out of prison.Raghu (Varun Dhawan), shattered from the loss of both his wife and his son, immerses himself in seeking revenge from both culprits.Liak is sentenced to 20 years in prison but refuses to reveal the identity of his partner in crime.Then film follows Raghu's life for the next 15 years.15 years later, a cancer ridden and terminally ill Liak is freed from prison on compassionate grounds. But Raghu is still hellbent on vengeance.Liak ages behind bars and lives with hope that after 20 years he will go out and have a good life with the money he robbed with the help of his partner Harman But Raghu has other plans for them.

How did Raghu fulfill his revenge is rest of the story.

PERFORMANCES: Varun is in a completely new avatar & he did a fantastic job. Nawazuddin is just mindblowing.He acted brilliantly & naturally. Huma & Divya Dutta are good.

MUSIC: composed by Sachin-Jigar.The songs "Jee karda" & "Jeena jeena" are very good.

Despite of being a revenge story,it offers a different storyline.Script,pace,treatment,direction are also very good but main attraction is the acting by Varun & Nawaz.

Overall,Badlapur is surely must watch film 7 this is the one of the finest film of 2015.

BABY

BABY: is a Indian action thriller film directed by Neeraj Pandey starring Akshay Kumar, Danny Denzongpa, Anupam Kher, Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon, Madhurima Tuli and Rasheed Naz.

PLOT: The story follows members of a fictional secret operation team called Baby, a temporary task force headed by Feroz (Denzongpa) whose mission is to protect India from terrorists and whose mandate is coming to a close.While attempting to rescue a fellow Indian security agent in Turkey, Ajay Rajput (Akshay Kumar) discovers a terrorist plot against a Delhi mall,he learns that this was only the first in a series of massive attacks that have been planned. Terrorist mastermind Maulana (Naz).A dangeorus terrorist Bilal(Kay Kay Menon) has been snatched from prison van.Now,Baby team consisting of Ajay,Jai(Rana),Om Prakash Shukla(Anupam Kher) & Priya(Tapsee) gets responsibility to stop those attacks & save the country.How they do is rest of the story.

PEROFORMANCES: Akshay Kumar is in one of the finest performances of his lifetime.Anupam Kher,Danny are good. Tapsee looks very beautiful but she & Rana has very small role.

Very good story line,awesome script,good performances make this film fast-paced and entertaining but lenghth of the film could be cut short & climax could be more exciting.

Overall,Baby is must watch film.

ALONE

ALONE: is a bollywood horror film directed by Bhushan Patel starring Bipasha Basu, Karan Singh Grover in pivotal roles.The film is a remake of the 2007 Thai horror film of the same name and has also earlier been remade in Kannada and Tamil as Chaarulatha.

PLOT: The story takes it off showing the conjoined twins Sanjana & Anjana(both played by Bipasha).Sanjana & Anjana lived in kerala as one body and soul.Their childhood friend Kabir (Karan) falls in love with Sanjana which creates differences between the twins.So they decide to separate their attached bodies through surgery and during which Anjana dies.Sanjana marries Kabir and shifted to mumbai.After hearing the news of Sanjana's mother's accident,she came back to kerala.Now the spirit of the dead sister confined all these years to a room in the house grabs the opportunity to make her presence felt in ways that can only rattle the married couple.The spirit wants to take her revenge and disclose the secret behind her death.What is the secret and how they fight with the spirit are rest of the story.

PERFORMANCES: Bipasha Basu is good.Now she becomes horror film expert actress of bollywood.She looks hot,sensuous.Karan Sing Grover is okay.

MUSIC: was composed by Ankit Tiwari, Mithoon & Raghav Sachar.The songs "Katra Katra","Awaara"  were good.

Poor script.Ghost effects are not impressive. Suspense,thrilling incidents are lagging.

Overall,Alone is so-so films & its not up to the mark horror film.This is movie for 1 time watch only if u r Bipasha Basu fan.

BYOMKESH PHIRE ELO

BYOMKESH PHIRE ELO: is an  Indian thriller film on Bengali fictional detective Byomkesh Bakshi directed by Anjan Dutt featuring Abir Chatterjee,Saswata Chatterjee, Ushasie Chakraborty,Biswajit Chakraborty,Chandan Sen ,Kaushik Sen,Ankita Chakraborty,Rahul Banerjee,Ena Saha, Sampurna Lahiri.This is the third installment of Byomkesh series By Anjan Dutt.

PLOT: A rich businessman Benimadhab (Biswajit Chakraborty) lives with his son Ajay(Chandan Sen),daughter in law Arati(Locket Chatterjee),daughter Gayetri(Anjana),son in law Gangadhar(Koushik Sen),grand daughters Laboni(Sampurna) & Jhilli(Ena Saha),grandson Mokorondo(Subhra Sourav Das),nephew Sanat(Rahul).Benimadhab always thinks someone among his family members is trying to kill him, but could not find who. He appointed Byomkesh (Abir Chatterjee) to find out.Oneday Beni & his bodyguard Meghraj were brutally murdered at home.Byomkesh started investigation & comes out some dark secrets of Benimadhab's family members.How Byomkesh finds the killer is rest of the story.

PERFORMANCES: Abir as Byomkesh is very good as usual.I think he should continue portraying the character of Byomkesh.He fits in this role very much.Saswata in a cameo role again proves his ability.But Kaushik Sen is just brilliant as drunk,gambler son in law Gangadhar. Ankita as Medini,wife of Meghraj is also good.

Though the story is good,Anjan Dutt also shines again as director.Detailing,background score,sets are good.This is best Byomkesh film among the Byomkesh series directed by Anjan Dutt.

Overall,Byomkesh Phire Elo is a good film & is a must watch film.

N.B: Personally I feel that this time(for the 1st time also),the representation of Anjan Dutt in Byomkesh Phire Elo  is better than Sandip Roy in Badshahi Angti.

PK

PK: is an Indian satirical comedy-drama film directed by Rajkumar Hirani starring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma in lead roles, with Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla, and Sanjay Dutt in supporting roles.

PLOT: The movie starts with Jaggu (Anushka Sharma), a journalist student in Bruges, Belgium who after completing her studies and recovering from a failed relationship with her Pakistani lover Sarfaraz (Sushant Singh) comes back to her hometown in India.On the other hand,A humanoid alien (Aamir Khan), lands on Earth on a research mission in Rajasthan but is stranded when his beacon to his spaceship, a locket around his neck, is stolen.Now he searches for his locket.Unaware of earth's customs,his works,attitude makes him funny & some people starts calling him PK.Then he realises that only GOD can help him to find his locket.So he starts all rituals of all religions to find GOD but failed. He later discovers that a powerful self-proclaimed godman, Tapasvi Maharaj (Saurabh Shukla), has his remote.In the mean time,he befriends with Jaggu who wants to capture his eccentricities into a story.

Now how PK gets back his locket from Tapasvi proving him fake & How he deals with sensitive matters of religion and presence of God were rest of the story.

PERFORMANCES: Aamir is brilliant & his new avatar impreses all.Anushka & Saurabh Shukla were very good.Sanjay Dutt & Sushant Singh Rajput were good in their cameo roles.

MUSIC: Composed by Shantanu Moitra,Ajay-Atul & Ankit Tiwari.All songs are good.

A very good & well directed script,sensitive topic,brilliant performances are the main USP of the film.Bt I feel that 1st half is better than 2nd half.Climax part should be more interesting.

Overall PK is a must watch film.Probably this is not Hirani's best film but it has elements of full entertainment.
