SINGH IS BLIING: is a Bollywood action comedy film directed by Prabhu Deva featurring Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Lara Dutta, Kay Kay Menon, Rati Agnihotri, Yograj Singh,Kunal Kapoor & Pradeep Rawat

PLOT: Raftaar Singh(Akshay), a good-for-nothing Punjabi lad whose chief qualification is that he's momma's boy. Raftar's father(Yograj Singh) has a friend Kripal Singh(Pradeep Rawat) in Goa who runs a casino.Raftaar is thus sent off to Goa from Punjab, hoping he'll find ways to fend for himself. In Goa Raftaar is appointed as care taker of Sara((Amy Jackson), daughter of a Romanian don (Kunal Kapoor) and falls in love but she is being chased by a psycho drug lord Mark (Kay Kay Menon).Mark send his men to goa to killed Sara.How Raftaar saves Sara's life is rest of the story.

PERFORMANCES: Akshay is good but doing same type of comedy acting as he usually does.Amy Jackson is very impressive.Her looks,action sequences are good.Kay Kay Menon has nothing much to do.Lara Dutta as Emily english translator to Akshay is very good revealing a terrific flair for physical comedy that one had no idea she possessed.

MUSIC: composed by Sneha Khanwalkar, Manj Musik, Sajid-Wajid, Meet Bros."Tung Tung Baje" is very good."Singh And Kaur","Cinema Dekhe Mamma" ,"Mahi Aaja" are also good listen.Overall,this music album is having some foot tapping numbers.

It is enjoyable in parts but as a whole it is not up-to the mark having some funny moments and Lara Dutta brings a certain freshness to the film.

Overall,Singh is bliing is one time watch film as it delivers mindless humour, entertainment and some fairly good performances.

KIS KISKO PYAAR KAROON

KIS KISKO PYAAR KAROON : is an Indian romantic comedy film directed by director Abbas Mustan Indian stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma will make his Bollywood debut with this movie. Other casts include Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Phadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi, Elli Avram, Sai Lokur, Varun Sharma, Supriya Pathak, Sharat Saxena, Manoj Joshi & Jamie Lever.

PLOT: Shiv Ram Kishan Kumar(Kapil Sharma) gets married thrice to Juhi(Manjari),Simran(simran) & Anjali(Sai Lokur), by accident. Either his friends trick him into it or gangsters force him to get married, but instead of standing up for himself, he chooses to stay married to three women, shuttling between them.He also has a steady girlfriend Deepika(Eli) whom he wants to marry.His lawyer friend Karan(Varun Sharma) helps Kapil to survive in many situation.The rest of the story is how Kapil hides his 3 marriages from 3 wives and how he is able to marry his girlfirend without informing that he is already married thrice.

PERFORMANCES: Kapil is very very good.His comic timing,dialogue delivery are excellent as we have already seen him in a TV show.4 heroines look very hot.They have added some glamour quotient to the film.Arbaaz Khan as Tiger Bhai(gangster brother of Anjali) delivers a good acting in a small role.Varun Sharma,Supriya Pathak,Sharat Saxena, Manoj Joshi are also good. Johnny Lever's daughter Jamie Lever as Champa is worth mentioning.She is also talented like his father.

MUSIC: composed by Javed Mohsin, Amjad-Nadeem, Dr. Zeus, and Tanishk Bagchi.Songs "DJ bajega toh pappu nachega" is good.

This film has some hilarious comedy situations,rib tickling gags & jokes,some hot girls.

Overall,Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon is bollywood's typical mindless comedy genre film.This is very much entertaining.Surely watchable.

HERO

HERO: is an Indian romantic action film directed by Nikhil Advani a remake of Subhash Ghai's directed 1983 film of the same name starring Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty,Aditya Pancholi ,Tigmanshu Dhulia.

PLOT: Sooraj (Sooraj Pancholi) is a gangster from Mumbai who meets Radha (Athiya Shetty), daughter of IG Srikant Mathur(Tigmanshu) during a party . Sooraj, under instructions from his gangster father, Pasha (Aditya Pancholi), kidnaps Radha because Radha's father brought evidence against Pasha in court, and kidnaps Radha in the guise of a police officer.Eventually They fall in love.Sooraj surrenders and is sent to jail for 2 yrs.2 years later, Sooraj is out of jail and is ready to start a new life with Radha.IG Mathur is completely against this relationship.Is Sooraj able to get Radha.If yes how?How does Sooraj impress IG Mathur?Rest of the film is all about.

PERFORMANCES: As newcomer,both actors have to learn many thing.Now they are just about okay.Sooraj has pronunciation problem like our Mahanayak Dev.His dialogue delivery is not clear.Only good physique is not enough to be a Hero.Athiya Shetty is so so.Tigmanshu Dhulia looked just plain upset all the time.Only Adiya Pancholi is good & shines.

MUSIC: composed by Amaal Mallik, Meet Bros Anjjan and Sachin-Jigar."Main Hoon Hero Tera","Khoya Khoya" & "Dance Ke Legend" are good.

The problem lies with the script. It just isn't innovative or fresh enough. Nikhil Advani plays safe and doesn't offer anything new.

Overall,Hero fails to live up to the expectations.if u haven't watched Jackie Shroff starrer Hero(1983 film) then can watch one time in your computers/laptops.Otherwise,leave it....

KATTI BATTI

KATTI BATTI: is an Indian romantic comedy film directed by Nikhil Advani starRING Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan.

PLOT: Madhav "Maddy" Kabra (Imran Khan) is an architect who is in love with Payal (Kangana Ranaut) because of her attitude towards life. They are in a live-in relationship for 5 years until a sudden turn of events makes Payal leave Maddy.Rest of the film describes why Payel left Maddy & how Maddy find Payel.

PERFORMANCES: Kangna was good.Her acting was also good where as Imran Khan was not so impressive but their chemistry was good.Vivan Bhatena is wasted in a bland role as Payal's ex-boyfriend, Ricky Ahuja. And Manasvi Mamgai as Maddy's colleague Devika is passable. But the two characters who really stand out with realistic performances are Maddy's sister Koyal and his friend Vinay.

MUSIC: composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.Some songs like "sarfira","sau ansoo","lip to lip de kissiya","Ove janiya" are very good.

Weak plot,common storyline,poor direction.The storyline was quite to similar to Imran Khan's Gori Tere Pyar Mei.Only music of this film was the positive side.Otherwise whole movie failed to impress.

Overall, the tragedy of Katti Batti lies in the fault of its director.

WELCOME BACK

WELCOME BACK: is an action comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee starring  Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor,Paresh Rawal,John Abraham, Shruti Haasan,Naseeruddin Shah,Shiney Ahuja,Dimple Kapadia.It is a sequel to the 2007 film Welcome.

PLOT: It’s been seven years since Rajiv married Sanjana in Welcome. We are told that Uday Shetty (Nana Patekar) and Majnu Bhai (Anil Kapoor) have left the underworld for good and have shifted to Dubai. These two ‘businessmen’ are on the radar of two con-women Babita(Dimple) and Poonam(Ankita) who are disguised as the queen and princess of Nazafgarh. Meanwhile Dr Ghungroo (Paresh Rawal) finds out that his wife has a son out of their wedlock.This son is actually a Mumbai gangster Ajju Bhai(John) falls in love Ranjana (Shruti Haasan).Uday & Majnu don’t like Ajju and the two are at loggerheads now. A semi-blind don Wanted Bhai (Naseeruddin Shah) enters the game at this juncture and his drug addict son Honey(Shiney) wanted to marry Ranjana.Now everything turns into a mess.Will Ajju win over Shetty? Will he find a way to marry Ranjana? What’s Wanted Bhai’s game plan?

PERFORMANCES: Anil Kapoor & Nana Patekar are absolutely brilliant.Their comic timing,comedy sense are mind blowing.Paresh Rawal is also very good.John is expressionless as usual & did same type of acting.Shruti looks good but she had nothing to do. Naseeruddin,Dimple,Ankita are just okay.

MUSIC: composed by Annu Malik,Meet Bros."Tutti bole wedding di" is just about okay type song.Otheriwse,music of the film is of worth mentioning.

Still, Welcome Back is dumb yet entertaining, utterly silly but made with a kind of absurd, warm energy.It has some hilarious sequences (specially the graveyard sequence)

Overall,Welcome Back is typical bollywood mindless comedy film.while I don't recommend going to a theatre to watch this but you can surely watch it on computers/laptops.

PHANTOM

PHANTOM: is an Indian action thriller film directed by Kabir Khan starring Saif Ali Khan,Katrina Kaif,Sabyasachi Chakrabarty,Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.The screenplay of the film has been written in coordination with author Hussain Zaidi's book Mumbai Avengers.

PLOT: Indian R.A.W. chief Roy (Sabyasachi Chakrabarty) and his trusted men (Rajesh Tailang, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub) plan a daring covert operation after 26/11 Mumbai attacks.The R.A.W. chief who orders the killings does not have the permission of the home minister and hence he has to keep everything under wraps.For this mission they approach Daniyal Khan(Saif),ex-military whos has been sacked from Army, to help them in this mission and in return promise to clear his bad reputation and get a good name in the Indian army.Daniyal agrees. Daniyal then went on to kill the 26/11 attacks perpetrators- Sajid Mir, David Coleman Headley, Sabahuddin Umvi and Hariz Saeed.Nawaz Mistry (Katrina Kaif), former RAW agent who is now a counsellor and supplies arms to refugee camps. She helps Daniyal in his mission and identify all the culprits behind the attacks.Now are Daniyal & Nawaz able to took revenge from them?If yes how?This is rest of the story.

PERFORMANCES: Saif's performance is focused, clinical and precise, as the role demands.After Omkara this is probably his best performance while stating that Kaif is "able support " while performing action scenes.Sabyasachi Chakraborty,Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub are good as supporting character.

MUSIC: composed by Pritam.Song "Afghan jalebi" is excellent composition followed by "Sanware".

The main positive aspect of the film is the fast paced storyline which keeps you hooked and the edge of your seats and doesn't waster any time in dillydallying. To the point crisp narration is the USP of the movie.The unexpected twists and turns in the plot with no dull moments.

Overall Phantom is a gripping watch

BROTHERS

BROTHERS: is an Indian action-drama film based on Mixed Martial arts (MMA) directed by Karan Malhotra stars Akshay Kumar, Siddharth Malhotra,Jacqueline Fernandez,Jackie Shroff,Ashutosh Rana and Shefali Shah.The film is an official remake of the 2011 Hollywood film Warrior.

PLOT: Peter Bregenja(Kiran Kumar) a Former Mixed Martial Art Champion,has decided to hold a massive R2F(Right To Fight) championship in Mumbai. In it, Indian fighters will compete against international champions for a prize money of Rs 9 crores.Now its about two half-brothers torn apart by the murder of their mother (Shefali Shah) by their alcoholic father Gary Fernandes (Jackie Shroff). While elder brother David (Akshay Kumar), moves on from the family’s street-fighting ways to live a regular life as a physics teacher, Monty (Sidharth Malhotra) deals with their recovering father, now back from prison.David lives with his beautiful wife, Jenny (Jacqueline Fernandez), and his daughter, who suffers from a kidney ailment To pay his daughter's medical bills, David fights in late-night street matches, but when school officials find out, he's fired from his job. Desperate to earn money, he decides to compete in the world's biggest MMA contest, the fictitious Right to Fight championship.Monty asks his father to coach him in MMA unbeknownst to David.They face each other in a final.Who will win at last & how: this is the rest of the story

PERFORMANCES: Akshay is superb.Jackie Shroff steals the show in several scenes.This is the best performance of Jackie in recent time.Jacqueline looks so beautiful in her normal looks & acts good.Siddharth is ok.His acting,attitude are same as "Ek Villain".

MUSIC: coposed by Ajay-Atul.Songs "Sapna Jahan","Mera naam Marry","Brothers Anthem" are good.

Karan Malhotra divides the film in two clear halves. The pre-interval story focusses on the dynamics between the brothers and their flashback, while the second packs a solid action packed punch.The fight scenes look real, a lot of hard work has gone in making sure they look authentic. You will be rooting for Akshay through out the second half, and the climax fight between him and Sidharth is a major highlight.

The drawback is its background score.It was so loud that sometimes it suppresses the dialogues.

Overall,Brothers is decent watch film
