PLOT: Ex-don-now-car-re-modeller Raj (Shah Rukh Khan) aka Kali lives a peaceful life with his younger brother Veer (Varun Dhwan) on whom he dotes.Together, they run a garage where they modify and repair cars, giving them a makeover. His two friends, Anwar (Pankaj Tripathi) and Shakti (Mukesh Tiwari) are an intrinsic part of his life and are privy to his dubious past of 15 years ago, which he has buried and about which no one else knows.Veer meets and falls for Ishita (Kriti Sanon) and expectedly gets assistance from Raj in his pursuit.Things become a problematic when Ishika's sister, Meera (Kajol) arrives.Turns out Raj has a history with Ishita's sister Meera (Kajol).
The story moves to 15 years ago, to a distant Bulgaria. Raj here is known as Kali, a dreaded Indian gangster. Two warring dons, Malik (Kabir Bedi) and Randhir Bakshi (Vinod Khanna),father of Kali, share a khandani dushmani in Bulgaria over some gold biscuits.Like a fresh breath of air, enters Kajol (Meera). Meera is Kabir Bedi's daughter and she tries to trap Raj in her love. However, when the two realise their 'real' affecton for each other, they decides to marry. The two families decide to meet and what happens there doesn't stay there by the way. Their fight with each other gets so intense that one fine day the two dons—Vinod Khanna and Kabir Bedi kill each other.Meera thought that Kali is responsible for this & shoot him.The enmity and misundersting between Kajol and SRK after former's daddy gets killed makes them stay off each other for 15 long years
Now,Will Raj manage his differences with Meera?

PERFORMANCES: Kajol dazzles and it's difficult to take your eyes off her when she's on screen. She looks stunning & steals your heart with a performance that stays in your memory.SRK is at his charismatic best in the young avtaar and carries off the angry, middle-aged guy with aplomb.Varun Dhawan is good as he is a good actor.Kriti looks very gorgeous & has a strong screen presence and is natural. This film boasts of a commanding supporting cast, but the ones who sparkle include Sanjay Mishra [exceptional], Johny Lever [super], Mukesh Tiwari [first-rate] and Pankaj Tripathi [competent]. Boman Irani does exceedingly well. Vinod Khannna and Kabir Bedi, the two veterans, are just right.

MUSIC: composed by Pritam is a ten-on-ten and singer Arijit Singh has once again spilled magic with his voice. Gerua's picturisation will want you to jump to Iceland next very moment.Other songs "Janam Janam" , "Manma Emotion Jaage","Tukur Tukur" are also very very good.

Story is very much predictable. The cinematography and scenes of Bulgaria are breathtaking. Goa has been captured well. Yes, cars do play a big part here, as they do in most Shetty films.Rohit Shetty stresses on vintage stuff [love triumphs against all odds], but he along with screenplay writer Yunus Sajawal narrates it smartly, peppering and garnishing the proceedings with sub-plots that keep you completed captivated.

Overall,Dilwale is a completely masala entertainer & can be watched.

N.B: Personally,I feel after a long time SRK has delivered a better performance than his Om Shanti Om,Chennai Express & Happy New Year.

HAR HAR BYOMKESH

HAR HAR BYOMKESH: is a Bengali mystery thriller film directed by Arindam Sil starring Abir Chatterjee ,Ritwick Chakraborty, Sohini Sarkar, Nusrat Jahan, Adil Hussain ,Subrat Dutta, Harsh Chhaya,Deepankar De,Indradeep Dasgupta & Shadab Kamal. Its based on the story "Banhi Patanga".

PLOT: Byomkesh (Abir), who visits Benaras with wife Satyabati (Sohini) and Ajit (Ritwick) at the invitation of inspector Purandhar Pandey (Harsh). ends up investigating the murder of zamindar Dipnarayan Singh (Adil).

PERFORMANCES: Abir is excellent as Byomkesh. His charismatic performance adds a new level to the movie.Ritwik is also very very good.No doubt he is great actor, his comic timing is also awesome.Sohini looks very cute, sweet as Satyabati. She completely justifies her role with her simplicity. The trio have perfect on-screen chemistry that shines through in almost every shot, making it a pleasure to watch them.Nusrat, too, has done a good job as Shakuntala around whom the mystery revolves.Renowned music director Indraadip Dasgupta as the zamindar's debauched nephew raises a few laughs.Harsh Chhaya as Purandhar Pandey is good.

MUSIC: composed by Bickram Ghosh.his north Indian classical tunes go perfectly with the period and the setting. The background score, too, adds to the mystery.

Soumik Halder's cinematography is an attraction of the film.Through his lens,Benaras looks very beautiful.
Last but not the least, the Director Arindam Sil should get all credits. He did a commendable job.The craft has got better, the storytelling is smarter.

Overall,Har Har Byomkesh is a must watch film.

N.B: There is a surprise at the last scene which would pay tribute to a scene from Satyajit Ray's film on detective Feluda.

TAMASHA

TAMASHA: is a 2015 romantic drama film written and directed by Imtiaz Ali stars Ranbir Kapoor,Deepika Padukone,Vivek Mushran & Javed Sheikh.

PLOT: The film starts off with the onstage robotic 'introduction' of Ved Vardhan Sahni (Ranbir Kapoor). The story then gets into a flashback mode wherein the audiences are introduced to the childhood of Ved(Yash Sehgal), who gets mesmerized and enchanted by stories. The 'impact' of these stories told during his childhood is so huge that it starts hampering his 'corporate life'.Present day,It is only on a holiday trip in Corsica where he meets Tara (Deepika Padukone) and his love for fun and theatre comes back to the fore. Ved and Tara have an agreement that they won’t reveal real names or anything that can trace them back to their lives - leaving behind the fun, love and connection they find in each other. When Tara tracks Ved and meets him in Delhi, she finds a different man - a product manager who has been saving his job solely through his ‘well-mannered’ behaviour and the tendency to be a yes-man of his boss(Vivek Mushran). With a broken heart, she decides to leave Ved alone and move on.What will happen to Ved?Do Ved and Tara ever come together is what forms the rest of the story

PERFORMANCES: Both Ranbir and Deepika come across as mature performers in Tamasha. While Deepika re-asserts her acting capabilities despite the script rendering her the second fiddle, Ranbir - who has been facing criticism over his last few outings onscreen - surprises with his brilliant acting prowess. His chemistry with Deepika Padukone is extremely likeable, believable and relatable.Every time Deepika comes on screen, she simply lights it up with her magnetic presence. There is never a dull moment in the film when she is on screen.Vivek Mushran is also good.

MUSIC: composed by A.R.Rahman & songs are the main attraction of the film. All songs are excellent.

This is Imtiaz Ali’s most complex and intriguing journey till date.Almost all of us have been brought up with such robotic mannerisms that we tend to forget our real selves - much like the protagonist Ved. This could have been a much larger connect for the audienceThe film's cinematography (Ravi Varman) is commendable but could have been better, as the exotic locales of Corsica could have been shown.
The sad part is that with TAMASHA, Imtiaz Ali fails to live upto the expectations and falls flat with the film. The movie suffers from a plot that appears confusing and is convoluted for an avid cinegoer. The film's first 20 minutes that aims to setup the tempo and establish the character of Ranbir, might appear as boring & the film's second half seems to drag majorly. This hampers the film and acts as a spoilsport in the progress of the film.

Overall, Tamasha is totally disappointing film of 2015.

HATE STORY 3

HATE STORY 3: is an 2015 Hindi erotic thriller film directed by Vishal Pandya starring Karan Singh Grover, Sharman Joshi, Zarine Khan,Daisy Shah and Priyanshu Chatterjee.

PLOT: Aditya Diwan ( Sharman Joshi) is a successful businessman now married to Sia (Zareen Khan) who was once his late elder brother Vikram’s(Priyanshu) fiancĂ©.Everything is fine until Sourav Singhania(Karan Singh Grover) makes an unchartered entry. Sourav asks Aditya to allow him to spend a night with Sia and in exchange ask for whatever he wants. Naturally, angered by such a proposal, Aditya refuses to co-operate.Hence, starts Sourav’s vicious game. He starts by targeting Aditya’s business and ties him up in legal issues. Frustration grips over Aditya as he cannot decipher Sourav’s motive in doing so.Aditya sends his loyal colleague Kaya (Daisy Shah) to spy over Sourav but things turn ugly when double-crossing gets involved.
What is Sourav’s motive in harming Aditya and Sia is what essentially the movie is about.

PERFORMANCES: Sharman has been miscast. He is unable to bring out the arrogant and flamboyant nature of his character courtesy his ‘boy next door’ looks.Karan is ok.Daisy Shah gets limited scope to showcase her acting.Similarly, Zarine Khan too fails to attract audiences. She looks very hot but delivers an absolutely wooden act. In fact, she wears the same bored expression throughout the film.

MUSIC: composed by Amaal Mallik, Meet Bros and Baman.90's popular song "Tumhe Apna Banane Ka" has been recreated which sounds good."Wajah Tum Ho","Tu Isaq Mera" are also good composition.

There are so many bathing scenes, kisses in the film.Director tries to make a suspense thriller & he was quite successful.Story line is good.Climax is good.

Overall,Hate Story 3 is one time watch film & its better than Hate Story 2
