RIO 2 : is an American 3D computer-animated musical adventure-comedy film directed by Carlos Saldanha. It is the sequel to the 2011 computer-animated film Rio.
PLOT: Movie started with Blue & Jewel happily lived in Rio with their 3 kids.Their friends Carla,Bia,Tiago also lived there.Blu's owner Linda & her husband Tulio were on an expedition in the Amazon rainforest to find whether any blue feathered Macaw existed.The news of this expedition was telecasted on Tv.Then Blu decided to visit Amazon to help Linda & Tulio with his family & friends.The problem arose when a leader of a group that was in a line of illegal logging named Big Boss discovered Linda and Tulio's expedition were hampering their works then he ordered his men to stop this expedition by any means.Blu and Jewel's old enemy Nigel the Cockatoo also followed them to Amazon along silent tamandua named Charlie and a poison dart frog named Gabi.Going there Jewel found his father & friends.Now the battle begun between Humans & Macaws to save the rainforest & the their existence.
An excellent story,beautiful & touchy screenplay,amazing 3D effects and above all,the music of this film was brilliant.Each & every song was mindblowing.Composited by John Powell.Picturisation,choreography were just awesum.
Overall, Rio 2 is a must watch.A perfect entertainer of this season.
