TALVAR

TALVAR: is a 2015 Bollywood drama film written by Vishal Bharadwaj and directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film is based on the 2008 Noida double murder case, in which a teenage girl and her family servant were found murdered, and her parents were convicted for the murders. The film stars Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Neeraj Kabi and Sohum Shah.

PLOT: A 14 year old girl Shruti Tandon(Ayesha Parveen) is brutally murdered inside her bedroom in the house. Next day, the domestic help of the family, Khempal's body is found on the terrace of the house. The parents, Ramesh(Neeraj Kabi) and Nutan Tandon(Konkona Sensharma) don't get the luxury of mourning over her death as soon after, they are embroiled in a situation where the father is suspected of killing her.CDI officer Ashwani Kumar(Irrfan) and Inspector Vedant (Soham Shah) are investigating the case.Ashwani believes the parents to be innocent, and methodically builds a case against the father's resentful assistant.Just as Ashwin Kumar is about to conclude his investigation, his senior officer retires and a new CDI chief takes over. Inspector Vedant, in his greed to get a promotion, starts working against Kumar. This leads to an altercation between the two officers, resulting in Kumar's suspension. Then CDI hands over the case to a new probe team led by Kumar's former boss Paul (Atul Kumar), who concludes that the parents committed the murders. Now conflict between two investigating officers come into front.
Who is correct & who is wrong?Who killed Shruti & Khempal?Has justice been done to the Tandon family?Rest of the film is all about.

PERFORMANCES: Each & every actor did a brilliant job. They are so natural that this can't b treated as acting. They transform themselves into real life character.

MUSIC: composed by Vishal Bharadwaj.Several songs are employed to underpin the Talvar narrative, but the film has no room for any happy musicality.

Vishal Bhardwaj's tight screenplay, great casting and Meghna Gulzar's slick-yet-with-an-emotional-undercurrent handling of the material in hand, makes this an immensely watchable film.

Overall,Talvar is a must watch film
